Blackberry Motion Review
After a long time, we are seeing the blackberry to bring its hardware in the market in the name of blackberry motion. The company can be said to re-establish their position in the market again. However, we found that a great number of audience in the beginning of 2018 were still not aware of the fact that blackberry can be their partner too.
Well, no such hard feelings towards the audience. It was totally the fault of the company itself as no such great advertisement was made by them.
Keeping all these recognition aside, we are going to provide you a brief knowledge about the BlackBerry Motion today. Coming with a standard set of hardware, the handset is well recognized in the market. We can easily say that the Blackberry Motion’s hardware are good to do and is in fact accepted by all the users of India as other models in the market are there with the same configuration.
Design & Display
The device will come with a 5.5 inch IPS LCD, 1920 X 1080 pixel resolution which will be a great deal to bring in 403 PPI when you get an aspect ratio of 16:9. For the best of the protection, DragonTrail glass has been provided with anti-scratch nano-diamond coating.
Speaking of the design, BlackBerry Motion has polished aluminium frame with stylish design and soft touch material on the rear of the device. IP67 water resistant is also what you get for the device.
Camera
Well, this is the part where BlackBerry has put a lot of focus in order to get the stuffs you deserve. The front camera comes with 8 MP with fixed focus and aperture of f/2.2. Videos can be recorded at 1080p @30fps without any difficulty. That’s what you need for your selfies and video calls.
Accompanying the front camera we have 12 MP rear camera, f/2.0 aperture with dual-tone LED flash. HDR mode is available for photography and videos using the back camera can be recorded at 4K @30fps and 1080p @30fps. Low light enhancement has been provided for you.
To be true, we are not as excited for BlackBerry Motion as we were for BlackBerry KEYone. Well, the reason can be only one thing that hardly companies nowadays provide qwerty keypad handset. Speaking more about the device, it is the successor of BlackBerry DTEK60 a phone with the best of the high end processor to make it stand in the market.
Hardware & Software
The chipset provided with the handset is Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 CPU octa core clocked at 2.0 GHz, Adreno 506 CPU. Well, the processor isn’t that high but will surely make multi-tasking easier for the users. Apart from it, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage make it convenient for the users. However, at a price as high as $450 we expect the company to provide better configuration.
Battery & Other Configuration
The best part of the device is obviously the battery capacity of the device. It is accompanied by a 4000 mAh non-removable battery which will last for a day without any issue. Quick charge 3.0 is supported in the device making you save your time. Though we expected to get Android 8.0 Oreo with it, we are getting Android 7.12 Nougat. Things aren’t the way we do expect after paying $450. However, frequent updates can be found.
The fingerprint can be found on the front embedded over the home button itself. Thus gives it a premium look. Both single and dual SIM configuration is provided and does support LTE. Bluetooth 4.2 is also what you get.
