There are more services in the cloud, such as Dropbox or Mega. All of them will save you that important data that you keep on your device. The only requirement is to have an internet connection to upload and download the files you want.
It is also worth mentioning that you can activate, if you wish, the uploads from the camera in any of the services in the cloud automatically. This will avoid having to spend time uploading them by hand and checking if you have uploaded them repeatedly. In the settings of any of the applications you can activate this option if you did not already have it.
Speaking of photos, the Google Photos application allows us to save all our images and videos without storage limit so we can rescue them whenever we want. Yes, the quality of the photos is limited to 16 megapixels and the videos to FullHD.
For those who prefer the computer before the cloud:
Not everything has to be stored on our phone or in the cloud, we can also go to our computer, which will have more free storage than our smartphone (almost certainly). The most common option is to connect the mobile to the PC via USB cable and transferring the files you want yourself.
But if you do not want to or cannot connect the phone to your computer, you can use some application, such as Air Droid, which will allow you, among other things, to pass the files remotely from your smartphone to your PC. You only have to download the app from Google Play for the mobile and the desktop version for your PC from its website.
Once you have installed the application on both devices, you just have to connect on both devices with your account and start enjoying all the options. You can go from the typical photos or videos to applications in the form of an apk file. Air Droid has many more options, but some depend on the web version.
There are more options, such as CrashPlan, but in this case, in order to use the mobile application, you need a payment account. To try it you can access a free account for 30 days to decide if it’s worth it or not pay a money to have all the functions offered by the application.
